A platform to share the learnings and pave a way to the 4th industrial revolution. This will serve as a continuation of the discussions emanating from the International Heavy Haul Association Conference (IHHA) held at Cape Town, 2017 and a build up to the IHHA 2019, to be held in Norway, with the theme “Heavy Haul 4.0”.
SA Heavy Haul
Dear Railway Professionals and Associates, the South African Heavy Haul Association (SAHHA) is looking forward to hosting you at the Technical Workshop on 4–6 September 2018, at Birchwood Hotel & Conferencing Centre, Johannesburg. The Theme of this Workshop is: “Embracing the 4th Industrial Revolution in Heavy Haul Railways – paving the way”.
Since this is a local Heavy Haul workshop, which would also serve as a build up to the next International Heavy Haul Association Conference (IHHA) conference to be held in Norway, June 2019, as a Workshop planning committee we estimated around 300 delegates will attend. I am pleased to announce that to date we now have over 450 delegates registered to attend this important event. I thank all delegates for their commitment and special interest to be part of the fruitful discussions we will have at the workshop.
We are especially grateful to our guest speakers and presenters, both locally and internationally, for their willingness to share some breakthrough solutions, experiences and expertise as part of our journey towards gearing up for the 4th Industrial Revolution era.
The SAHHA Board would like to acknowledge and thank our sponsors and exhibitors for their continued support and generous contributions towards ensuring the success of the SAHHA Workshop 2018. Without their support, this workshop would not have been possible.
I personally thank the Workshop Planning Committee of SAHHA for such a sterling job of putting together such an amazing programme for the workshop.
Please join us on this journey.
I look forward to the fruitful discussions we will have at this technical workshop.
I thank you for your support.
